HTML5 & CSS3
I use the latest HTML5 elements in my pages for improved semantics and CSS3 for styling. I try to ensure that my designs are cross-browser compatible and that they degrade gracefully in older browsers.

I use clean, semantic code in all of my designs to comply with the W3C's website design standards. I always ensure that my code validates correctly before handing over projects to clients.
Photoshop is my weapon of choice for graphics editing. I use Photoshop to produce 'mock-ups' and concept designs before building my websites in HTML5 and CSS3.
Responsive design means that my websites will look great and remain usable on a variety of different devices such as mobile phones, tablets and netbooks.
I design websites with usability in mind and aim to deliver an excellent experience for all users. It's all discovering what your users actually want instead of what you think that they need.
I design my websites to be accessible by following WebAim's accessibility guidelines.
